Where can I find drinking water health advisories for the contaminants that may be in my water?
The document Drinking Water Standards and Health Advisories contains tables that provide health advisory values as well as the drinking water standards (if any), reference doses (RFD), and cancer risk values for drinking water contaminants. Periodically, EPA updates these tables so that they are consistent with the most current EPA assessments of chemical contaminants that may occur in drinking water. EPA also uses these tables to introduce new health advisories. The current table and archived tables are available at http://water.epa.gov/action/advisories/drinking/drinking_index.cfm.
