Chlorine dioxide, when used as a primary disinfectant, can receive log-inactivation credits based on CxT calculations by measuring the residual disinfectant concentration (C) and the disinfectant contact time (T). The system can use the procedure specified in subpart H to determine the credit. There is more detail on these calculations in the SWTR Guidance Manual.
